Well, I can't believe that almost a year has gone by since we purchased Boran Software. It has been quite eventful. We have added a few good people: Barbara (Administration), Ronda (Help Desk), and Debbie (Accounting - Borran Books). Sandy has moved to Sales and Training.

We are very pleased that so many of you have taken the initiative to visit the Borran website at www.borran.com. I know you now wonder what you did without this link to support, tips, updates, and just keeping up with the latest offerings from Borran.

It seems that most of you did not have any difficulties updating to BRE-WIN. For those of you who have not yet upgraded, believe me, it makes life a lot easier when it comes to upgrades and more. BRE-WIN is effectively the same program as Boran-RE DPMI that you have been using in the DOS mode, but configured to run compatibly with all Windows printers and programs. Try it out and see what I mean. Just give Ronda a call on the support desk or visit the website. You are already authorized to download BRE-WIN.

But what about our Windows Program, you ask? Where is REALBROKER?

Wait until you see what we're adding to the Realbroker program. It's still in the "TOP SECRET" folder, but let me give you a hint: WWLS and single entry listings. Not to mention the complete office management tools you've come to expect from Borran, including uploading reports and listings to franchisors and/or corporate head offices. Exporting to Caseware for your year-end tax filings. True Windows multi-tasking. No compromise in speed or security.

In the second release, some front desk features like paging, emailing, or faxes linked to salesperson files will be added. Salespeople will also have access to a static view of their account information, listing status, sales status, etc. There will be more ways to get reports than ever before. Electronic installing of MLS invoices directly into the appropriate salesperson's account, with or without broker upcharges (available only from MLS boards using electronic invoice service providers). These are just some of the upcoming features that are just moments away from your desktop computer.

We are now in the final testing phase of the Realbroker software program. (which, by the way will be a FREE license upgrade to all those who are current customers using Boran RE or BRE-WIN products. The suggested list price for those who are not current customers is expected to be approximately $5,000 for the initial license.
