INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING BRE-WIN FROM WWW.BORRAN.COM

After you have logged onto Borran.com with your user name and password, you may find further Support information by clicking on the Customer SUPPORT link on the bottom left corner of the Software Updates screen.
- BRESETUP.EXE may be saved to a diskette, then installed onto your main/server BREWIN computer station
Or
- BRESETUP.EXE may be saved to the Desktop or a Download Folder, if your accessing the web from the BREWIN main/server computer station.
INSTRUCTIONS TO DOWNLOAD BRE-WIN TO DESKTOP FROM WWW.BORRAN.COM
If downloading an update make sure your backup has been done before doing the install.
1. Go to www.borran.com logon with your Customer ID # ________ and password. If you need to make any changes to your office profile click edit then click submit. The changes will take a couple of days to update. Once you change your password. You should see your software download screen.
2. Click on Bre-win 9.02b.
3. License and Support screen pops up read it, then click I agree, click next step
4. Question comes up have you done a backup YES / NO?
5. Click download
6. Two options appear run this program from its current location or save this program to disk choose save this program to disk and click o.k.
7. Save as screen appears, in the save in box locate Desktop from drop down menu then click save.
8. When you see download complete click close and finish.
9. Exit out of the internet.
BREWIN INSTALLATION FROM DESKTOP SECTION
1. From the desktop double click on the new Bresetup icon.
A Window appears telling you that the program installs directly to your computer
(you don't need a disk.) click next
2. License and Support Agreement pops up
click yes
Select destination directory window pops up
As an example the directory should be C:\RC if installing on server or F:\RC if installing from workstation.
3. click next
4. Setup will add the program to the start menu click next
5. click install
6. click finish
7. Go into Bre-Win, main menu and check the version reads 9.02b
8. Create a shortcut to Bre-Win. Right click anywhere on the desktop, click new, click shortcut, click browse, locate the drive Bre-Win is in example F:\RC double click to open folder and double click on the blue Bre-Win icon. Click next should say F:\RC\BreWin.exe on the command line, click next, select name for shortcut Bre-Win, click finish.

7. Save as screen appears, in the save in box locate 3 ½" floppy from drop down menu then put in a blank disk click save. You are saving it to the floppy because you have to load the program on to the server or workstation and are unable to access the web from the either station.
8. When you see download complete click close and finish
9. Exit out of the internet.
Put the floppy in the server or workstation's A drive and from my computer click on the 3 ½ floppy A drive
BREWIN INSTALLATION FROM FLOPPY DISK SECTION
1. Double click on the Bresetup icon.

Prior to processing Jan 1, 2002 Payroll, select Update Taxes from Utilities. If you have not updated your January tax tables it will prompt you to do so first then it will ask you to update your July tax tables. After updating taxes, check the Payroll screen reads Jan 1, 2002.
